A truck traveling north near the Mexican border was required to stop for a security check by the Mexican Army. As the soldiers approached, the driver, without a word, suddenly committed suicide. The shocked soldiers then opened the back of the truck only to find it was full of twenty-eight assassinated human bodies and a strange cargo of illegal drugs.
When they discovered that three of the bodies were Americans, and one of them was a diplomat, the U. S. Secretary of State asked the Navy Special Investigation Unit to work with a brilliant young Congresswoman and the FBI to find out what was the reason for it all and who was responsible.
The investigation followed an unusual trail, leading to a violent Mexican Cartel, illegal smuggling and export of opium, and the construction of an unknown project just ten miles south of the U.S. border.
As the search for an explanation progressed, some very unusual connections with people in Mexico, Germany, Cuba, Russia, and India, began to surface. As question after question just kept throwing the search off the track, the investigators kept finding strange answers.
But when they looked at everything together, it seemed to lead to a potentially dangerous extorsion project that might bring down the American banking system and destroy the U.S. economy.

FRACTURED
In FRACTURED, Mr. Christie delivers a gripping international thriller that begins with a horrifying discovery on a desolate road near the Mexican border. When a routine security stop turns tragic—the truck driver taking his own life before soldiers can question him—the real shock comes moments later: twenty-eight bodies and a cache of illegal drugs hidden in the truck’s cargo.
The situation escalates when investigators identify three of the victims as Americans, one a U.S. diplomat. What begins as a border tragedy soon becomes a matter of national urgency. The U.S. Secretary of State calls in the Navy Special Investigation Unit, assigning them to work alongside a sharp, determined young Congresswoman and the FBI to uncover the truth.
As the investigation unfolds, it exposes a sinister web of connections stretching far beyond Mexico’s borders—linking cartels, corrupt officials, and covert operations across Germany, Cuba, Russia, and India. Every lead seems to open another layer of deception, pushing the investigators into a high-stakes race against time.
The deeper they dig, the clearer it becomes that this is not just about drugs or murder—it’s about something far larger and more dangerous: a plot capable of destabilizing America’s financial system and crippling its economy.
Blending political intrigue, global crime, and high-intensity investigation, FRACTURED showcases Mr. Christie’s signature storytelling—fast-paced, detailed, and grounded in realism. The mix of military precision, intelligence work, and political tension makes this a standout entry in the author’s growing body of international thrillers.
With vivid characters, sharp dialogue, and a storyline that feels ripped from today’s headlines, FRACTURED captures the reader from the first shocking scene and doesn’t let go. It’s a timely, thought-provoking, and adrenaline-charged novel about the fragile line between global stability and chaos.
